Last weekend in Graz=(

This weekend marks the last weekend of our stay in Graz.
This week we finished up our journals, learned some more things and had a great 4th of July picnic/potluck with the families. It was so much fun to meet up with all the students and their host-parents in a casual environment and socialize. The parents told us all the fun stories and shared the experiences they had with the students. Everyone was having fun but we were also sad because the time left together is very short. The students got to play soccer, frisbee, football and volleyball and ate some homemade American-Austrian goodies.
As I already said, we have one more week in Graz, where we still  have goodbye concert planned. The students have been preparing a play and some more other things to show off their many talents to the host-families and then we are going to a free-life camp! Many more fun things to come in the little time left!

Hello Everybody!

Welcome everyone! We, the instructors (Tyler and Sofiya), are very exited to meet you all very soon!

Mid-week update

This week was all about studying and having fun! It seems like everyone is improving on their vocabulary, learning new fun things about linguistic and more and more about culture.  On Tuesday we went to the park and played some games and did some improv-theather. The students were having so much fun and were so good that we even had a small audience of a little girl with her mother. This week also marked a very special day for Liz, who turned 18! We got to celebrate by eating Austrian cake and singing Birthday songs in German.
